What to Expect

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating. Here's what you can expect when you join us.

A Capella Singing

One of the unique features of our worship is that we sing without musical instruments. We believe this simple, ancient form of worship encourages meaningful participation from everyone and aligns with the New Testament instruction to sing and make melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). You don't have to be a professional singer to participate; the emphasis is on praise from the heart.

Bible-Centered Preaching

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Our preaching is dedicated to explaining Scripture and applying it to our lives today. We strive to "speak where the Bible speaks" and help every person grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Sermons are designed to be relevant to the challenges we face in modern life.

The Lord's Supper

On the first day of every week, we gather to observe the Lord's Supper (Communion) in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice. We follow the example of the early church by breaking bread every Sunday (Acts 20:7). This is a quiet time for prayer, reflection, and gratitude as we partake of the emblems representing Christ's body and blood.

Prayer

Our services always include times of collective prayer. We pray for our community, our leaders, the sick, and the spiritual well-being of the church. We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of bringing our petitions and thanksgiving before God as a family.

Contribution

Members give of their means to support the work of the church. This weekly collection allows us to maintain our facilities, support our ministers, and help those in need. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to contribute; this is a responsibility our members have undertaken.

What to Wear

We want you to feel comfortable when you visit. You will see some people dressed up out of respect for the assembly, but everyone is welcome regardless of attire. We are more concerned with your presence than your clothing.
